Purpose-built for rural applications...
The new Ecomist 6 dispenser has been cleverly designed with a range of settings making it very effective at controlling insects in large indoor and semi-indoor areas as well as smaller outdoor spaces.
Our unique solenoid operation provides maximum coverage due to the reduced particle size
- The huge 650ml refill releases measured amounts of the Natural Pyrethrum in to the air creating an environment that most insects can't tolerate
- The dispenser can be easily set to operate at either 1 minute or 7 minute intervals and adjusted to dispense between 30 and 90 milligrams of Natural Pyrethrum
- The durable body of the dispenser can be either wall mounted or free standing for complete flexibility and portability
Set it to suit your work schedule...
Agricultural applications will require the dispensers to be turned on and off according to specific periods of demand. A milking shed is such an application which has two peak periods during the day. The function of turning the dispenser on or off can be made very easy with the unique feature of remote dispenser control.
Remote dispenser control is possible by wiring a switch to the remote connector on the Ecomist 6 circuit board. The wire can run up to 30 metres long with a switch on the end.
The remote feature does not actually switch the dispenser off but disables it from firing. The dispenser operates only when the switch is open.
Multiple dispenser control capability:
This is achieved the same as above but all the dispensers are wired in parallel to the remote connectors with the switch then situated in the most convenient location. This remote control feature also lends itself to being automated via a relay or a relay and timer combination. Remote control of the E6 dispenser is possible by wiring a switch to the remote connector on the circuit board.
The number of dispensers required in any location and the ideal setting will vary according to a number of local and environmental conditions. The following examples act only as a guide.
Dairies
A minimum of 2 dispensers could be required in a typical 40 head milking shed with placement as close to the pit area is recommended. In most situations the need to control insects is only during milking time For best results the dispensers should be turned on approximately 30 minutes before the cows enter the shed.
